Letter from the President

Welcome to the 2017 baseball season!

On behalf of the WBBA board, it is our privilege to kick off another season of White Bear Baseball and welcome back hundreds of Bears to the ball fields this year.

We hope that 2017 will prove to be another successful season for the coaches and players of the White Bear Baseball Association, as we try to build on the accomplishments of last season. In 2016 we sent over half of our teams to the Gopher State Tournament of Champions. Our 14AA Black team took second in their Tier I section, and our 12AAA team won the Tier II championship.

We received a lot of good feedback through our 2016 coach / association evaluations, and have made some changes to address some areas where we think improvements can be made. A revamped approach to Wednesday night dome sessions in 2017 was spearheaded by our Player Development Director and features a much greater number of coach volunteers working through coordinated drills designed...
