Southeastern Louisiana University RFC

The Southeastern Louisiana University Rugby Football Club has been an established organization at the school since 1967. It is the oldest, and in many ways, the most prestigious college rugby club in the State of Louisiana, and has a large following of alumni ruggers, parents, and other supporters that enjoy our Saturday matches at the Southeastern Complex located at 150 Lion Lane in Hammond, La.
The team went undefeated in Deep South play during the Fall of 2019. We were shut down for Covid and Hurricane Ida. The team reformed again late in the Fall for the 2021-2022 season and went undefeated for a second time in Deep South Conference play.
2022-2023 XV's season saw the Lions again go undefeated in the Deep South Conference. An invitation to a NCR sponsored "play in" tournament was accepted. The Lions defeated a very talented Tenn Tech team, and then lost to the men of Sawanee.
