Peninsula Youth Field Hockey Association

The PYFHA was founded in 2006 to provide opportunities for competitive field hockey on the peninsula, in the Hampton Roads region of southeastern Virginia. The Club is a select group of young ladies who exhibit the highest qualities of dedication, sportsmanship, hockey knowledge and skills appropriate for their age group. The club fields teams of U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-19 for young ladies in local, regional and national tournaments (including major college recruiting events) and features experienced coaches at all levels. The club operates during the off-season of VHSL field hockey, which typically runs from mid August to early November. Girls are encouraged to honor their school affiliations during the VHSL season.
