A nine-time Olympic medalist (six gold), Felix is the most decorated U.S. woman in track and field and is tied for the most all-time track and field Olympic medals by any woman.
Life has changed drastically for Felix since Rio. She won three medals at the 2017 World Championships (bronze in the 400m, gold in both relays), and then in November 2018 she gave birth to daughter Camryn via emergency C-section.
Felix hopes to return to competition this summer at the U.S. Championships, and though her best individual races may be behind her, Felix remains a key member of the U.S. relays and a team leader. Tokyo would be her 5th Olympics at age 34.
