Triathlons are made up of three races, which test physical ability, grit, and perseverance. Physically adaptive triathlons provide people with physical impairments a way to compete. Athletes benefit from the same conditioning as athletes without disabilities, and generally, the same program used for athletes without disabilities can be used for their peers with a disability, with a few modifications.
