What functionality will we gain moving to SportsEngine HQ?

Will we be able to access our SportsSignUp Play website after going live with SportsEngine?
You will continue to have access to your SportsSignUp Play site as you transition to SportsEngine HQ to ensure you have all the information you need for your new website.
Can we keep the same domain name?
Yes! When you are ready to go live with your SportsEngine website, the transfer of your domain is simple.
Can we open up registration before our website is ready?
Absolutely! You can open up registration whenever you’d like. Registration will have a separate link that you can send out to your athletes and families to begin registering before your website is ready.
Can we start messaging my members right away?
Of course! Importing your members to SportsEngine HQ is quick and easy.
How fast can we collect funds on SportsEngine?
As fast as 2 business days.
Are there any additional fees or minimum processing requirements?
SportsEngine HQ is $749/year with a processing rate of 3.25% + $2 on every transaction for both the registration and invoicing & billing tools—these fees can be passed along to the individual making the payment. Your annual subscription comes with the expectation that you will process at least $1,000 worth of payments during the 12 month subscription period. If you do not meet the minimum processing requirement, you will be charged a $300 fee at the renewal of your annual contract.
Is there a penalty to cancel a SportsEngine HQ subscription?
You have a full 90-days to explore all the ins and outs of your SportsEngine tools without any penalties for cancellation charges. After 90 days, your contract with SportsEngine is for one year from your original purchase date.
Can we get a pro-rated rate if we just paid our SportsSignUp Play renewal?
We can’t prorate your SportsEngine subscription rate. However, we can cancel your SportsSignUp Play subscription so you aren’t getting double charged for both subscriptions during the transition process.
How do we get our teams and players set up on the mobile app?
Once you open up registration it’s easy to roster your athletes, which automatically unlocks the mobile app.
How long does it take to move to SportsEngine HQ?
Standard timing is typically 2-3 weeks.
Can we add additional products and services later?
Yes, you will always have the opportunity to add additional services after you join SportsEngine (including background checks, tournament management, website design, additional training, and additional content migration)—setup fees and other costs may apply.
How do we get help if we have questions?
We have many resources to help you get the most out of SportsEngine HQ. There is a help experience within SportsEngine HQ that assists you wherever you are on the platform. If you need additional help, you can chat online or schedule an appointment to talk with our customer success team. Plus, our Community forum is filled with other SportsEngine users that can help answer questions and share their own advice on how to get the most out of SportsEngine.
Am I required to change to SportsEngine?
You are not required to switch to SportsEngine. However, the SportsSignUp Play platform will soon cease operation. We recommend SportsEngine HQ as your next all-in-one solution.
Will I have to request a new registration to be built every time?
You will have full access to build program registrations and make any adjustments. We recommend letting us help build your first registration on SportsEngine so you can learn how to do it in the future.
