Bermuda Football Association wins Bermuda 2015 Innovation of the Year Award for SportsEngine powered mobile app
SportsEngine applauds the Bermuda Football Association (BFA) which was recently awarded the prestigious “Innovation of the Year Award” as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week in Bermuda. The award, for its mobile app created in partnership with SportsEngine, is presented by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation and Department of E-Commerce, is presented annually to an organization that is doing outstanding things in the technology field. The mobile app, available for iOS and Android, is a first of it’s kind mobile application designed to help manage the Bermuda Football Association’s league activity.
“Our mobile app allows us to keep our entire Bermudian football community up to date on all types of information like schedules, standings, scores, news, rosters and more for all teams from youth leagues up to Premier.” said David Sabir, General Secretary of the Bermuda Football Association. “In the end, the SportsEngine platform will provide greater capability for those throughout our organization and also help to better serve our fans and marketing partners.”
