Youth Baseball Network Selects SportsEngine
We are excited to announce that we have signed a multi-year agreement with the Youth Baseball Network (YBN) and Youth Baseball Network National Championship (YBNNC) to provide core technology to power an all new website for all things youth baseball, from t-ball to 18U, across North America. The new website will help grow the game through engagement, communication, and tournament competition. The move further solidifies the YBN’s commitment to growing the game of baseball, and SportsEngine’s desire to strengthen it’s position in the sport. As part of the agreement, SportsEngine also becomes the “Official Sports Technology Provider” of the Youth Baseball Network and Youth Baseball Network National Championship.
“We believe that by building an incredibly engaging website that highlights all of the great aspects of the sport of Baseball, we will share the excitement of hitting the field and help grow interest, and ultimately participation, in the sport. ” said Gil Vieira, president and CEO, Youth Baseball Network. “SportsEngine is the perfect partner with all of the tools needed to build a world class website. We couldn’t be more excited.”
SportsEngine products and the proprietary NGIN platform are used by thousands of local sports organizations and national governing bodies alike to run their websites, tournaments, leagues, player registration and mobile applications. NGIN clientele represent dozens of sports, including soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, softball, hockey and wrestling and include USA Hockey, Hockey Canada, USA Wrestling and USA Fencing.
“We’ve been proud to work with a lot of great youth baseball organizations over the years, and our baseball client base continues to grow.” commented Justin Kaufenberg, co-founder and CEO of SportsEngine. “To have the opportunity to work with the Youth Baseball Network to help grow the game of baseball is a win/win for SportsEngine, our clients, and the sport of Baseball. We are thrilled to see the impact this will make.”
Development of the all new website has already begun and an early 2015 launch is currently scheduled.
