Matthias Ginter was the youngest player in the Germany squad which went on to win the World Cup in 2014.

Silver medallist at Rio 2016 Olympic Games, he played for Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach before moving back to his hometown club of SC Freiburg. But behind a very friendly and family man, he is the defensive rock to take Germany to a new glory in Qatar.
