SportsEngine, Inc., an NBC Sports Group company, and the leading provider of Sport Relationship Management software, announced today it has formed a partnership with Ohio Soccer Association North, a not for profit member of the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and US Youth Soccer, and officially recognized as the sanctioned youth soccer organization for northern Ohio.
SportsEngine will serve as the official provider of Ohio North’s comprehensive Player Safety Program which includes background screening and sexual abuse awareness and prevention training. Background screening will be managed through National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI), a SportsEngine, Inc. company and leader in youth-centered background screening solutions. NCSI provides the “Gold Standard” in background screening, serving youth sports organizations and national governing bodies across the country. Additionally, SportsEngine’s safety program is integrated with third-party providers to offer sexual abuse prevention training that fulfills the new federal Safe Sport Act requirements.
