grant funding applications are now open for Maryland & Massachusetts organizations! 

Last year, the PLAY Sports Coalition successfully unlocked state funding in Maryland and Massachusetts that is earmarked for youth sports grant programs operating in those states. Here are a few need-to-knows for organizations thinking about applying: 

  • Funding is for non-profit organizations only. 

  • The PLAY Sports Coalition will distribute all funding by June 30th, 2023. 

  • Your organization has no timeline to spend the grant dollars once received.

  • Approved applicants will be awarded $10-20K per organization. 

  • If your organization operates in BOTH Maryland and Massachusetts, you can apply for separate grants in each of the states
