The Situation

No balls, no strikes with a runner charging home the catcher moves into position to make the play.

The Call

  1. Batter Interference. The batter is required to leave the area if the play is imminent
  2. Catcher Interference. Award the batter first base. Return the runner to third base
  3. Cather Interference. Award the batter first base. Charge the pitcher with a balk and score the runner from third.
