Bridget and Sarah Burgess Cover their Most Memorable Experiences on the Racetrack
ARCA Menards mother-daughter duo Bridget and Sarah Burgess join Steve Letarte to recall their most memorable experiences together on the track, and share how they lean on each other when challenges arise mid-race.
Bridget discussed her experience with ARCA racing and why she chose stockcar racing as her sport. “I chose to be in the automotive industry because I’m fascinated by it, not because I wanted to be a girl in the industry. I just really want to go do one of these races. See how it feels, and go out there and be competitive," stated Bridget in an ARCA interview this past April.
According to ARCA racing, Bridget's mom serves as her crew chief, holding several years of racing experience under her belt as an off-road and drift racer. The duo dreams of racing against each other at Irwindale speedway when the West Series revisits Irwindale on July 2. They would be the first mother-daughter duo to race in the same NASCAR or ARCA touring series event.
