Three Men Around Laptops at SportsEngine

 

Webmasters, board members, registrars and other representatives from dozens of youth sports organizations from throughout the Midwest converged on Sport Ngin headquarters in Minneapolis on Saturday, Oct. 3, for Highlight ’15, the inaugural youth sports technology conference.

The day of learning, connecting and sharing included more than 20 sessions focused on topics ranging from registration, social media, design, scheduling, risk management and photography.

served as the keynote speaker. Rodney Adams of Atlanta, Mark Clark of Chicago and Scott Clasen of Minneapolis shared their experiences using the Sport Ngin platform as part of the Webmaster Panel general session. Carson Kipfer, Justin Kaufenberg and Greg Blasko led the Founders’ Forum to cap the day’s events.

Thompson, who has written nine books on youth sports, spoke about the unending availability of teaching moments provided by youth sports, and he stressed the power of positivity when working with children.

The Webmasters Panel featuring Adams, Clark and Clasen focused on how the trio have used the Sport Ngin platform to meet their organization’s needs and connect with their communities. 

Kipfer, Kaufenberg and Blasko answered multiple questions about Sport Ngin’s past, present and future and focused on topics such as the depth of the company’s platform and expected release of new products in the coming year, data security, the rapid growth of the Sport Ngin community and the most meaningful moments in Sport Ngin’s history.
