Packers, USA Football Award NFL Foundation-Funded Grants

USA Football’s grant program will award more than $1.5 million in resources to benefit young athletes in 2019, based on merit

The Green Bay Packers and USA Football recently awarded grants for new equipment, uniforms and other resources to several youth and scholastic football programs throughout Wisconsin.

Grants are valued up to $1,000 apiece and provide the following resources from USA Football partners: tackle football equipment from Riddell, flag football equipment, uniforms from Badger Sport, field and practice equipment from Tackle Tube, Shadowman Sports and Gilman Gear, background checks from Peopletrail and wearable technology from Catapult. “The Packers are pleased to work once again with USA Football and the NFL Foundation to help local football programs access the resources and equipment they need,” said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. “Through these grants, youth and school programs can help create a safe and healthy environment for young athletes to develop their skills and enjoy the sport they love.”
