SportsEngine Partners with OnlineDraft
SportsEngine and OnlineDraft announced today a brand new integration that creates an easy and fun way for youth sports organizations to roster and build out their teams. The integration allows OnlineDraft users to easily import athletes from any SportsEngine registration, place them on teams through a draft process in OnlineDraft, and send those athletes (as part of their new teams) back to SportsEngine.
“Most youth sports organizations have a draft or placement process after their tryout season, and OnlineDraft is a great way to help administer that process and enhance the entire draft experience.” said Angie Franks, chief marketing officer at SportsEngine. “Being integrated with not only SportsEngine Registration, but Sitebuilder and TeamCenter, creates an easy way to streamline an incredibly important process. ”
Thousands of sports organizations have chosen SportsEngine to run their website, tournaments, leagues, online registration & mobile apps. Through these applications, over 500,000 sports teams, clubs and leagues are able to drastically reduce the time they spend on administration and communication, allowing them to focus on spending time with their athletes. Momentum in all sports has accelerated for SportsEngine with recent agreements signed with governing bodies, organizations, and teams.
“Forming teams with a draft is a key part of every season. OnlineDraft is similar to fantasy sports drafts except the coaches pick their players,” said Dan Bartlett, founder of OnlineDraft. “With this integration, OnlineDraft complements SportsEngine’s tremendous product offering with a simple process for importing athletes and teams and then exporting completed rosters back to SportsEngine. Not only is it fun to project the draft onto a large TV screen, but SportsEngine customers will save a bunch of time recording picks and assigning those athletes to teams.”
